Ficus is Latinized from Sanskrit name Banyan. The graceful weeping fig, a beautiful tropical tree of dense growth.

Forming aerial roots, and with branches of somewhat pendant habit, the pendulous shining deep green leaves, long, ovate, slender pointed 8 to 10cms long, small round fruit blood red when ripe. One of the most attractive tubbed decorators for tropical effect.

Uses: It is used in landscaping, decorative plant in hotels and Office premises. It is also an ideal pot plant in indoors and outdoors.

PLANT CARE:

Temperature Range : 20c to 35c
Humidity Range : 50% to 90%
Shade level : 50% and more good light. 40 fc - 500 fc (400- 5000 lux) - more the light, more leaves.

Fertilizer: Give the plants NPK or Organic manure in 15 days.

Watering:
Check the moisture level in your pot or garden and apply water accordingly. Avoid excess water. Allow the surface to become dry and then water.
