Cordyline is called Cabbage Tree in New Zealand and grows 12m high with single erect stem crowned by a dense cluster of flat and narrow.

Arching leaves, tough leathery, bronzy green with fresh green mid rib, 6-8cms width in maturity, fragrant white flower following which the head will fork. Small plants in pot grown from seed and produced by Tissue culture, have slender leaves only 1 to 2cms wide.

Uses: It is used as decorative landscaping plant in cool climate. It is an ideal pot plant also.

Fertilizer: Give the plants NPK or Organic manure in 15 days. .
